Kontentino was founded in 2014 in Triad - a leading Central European advertising agency with more than 120 employees. Because of using emails, Excel sheets and Powerpoint presentations for co-creating and approving content for social media, both the agency and the clients faced multiple challenges.
Misunderstandings, chaos, complicated internal processes with multiple contributors and subsequent mistakes in published content led the management to the conclusion, it was time to use a tool which would help tackle these challenges. However, none of the tools available focused on the problems Triad and its clients were struggling with – they were too complicated and the clients were not willing to work with them. Since Triad (as one of a few advertising agencies) had in-house developers at hand, they decided to take advantage of that and came up with a customized tool which did exactly that - and Kontentino was born.
For a period of time, it was only used by Triad and a few befriended agencies, but the need for such tool exceeded the walls of Triad, so in January 2016 the decision was made to try and help everyone. Since then, we have gained more than 400 brands from all over the world. Even though we still focus on being easy-to-use in the segment of content scheduling and approval, during those years we added some more features, such as analytics or reporting.
